When you purchase a funeral policy, it will cover the basics, such as the service and the burial. But, when you take out a policy with 21st Century Funeral Services, you get a huge variety of funeral benefits to make life easier for those you leave behind when they need it most.
Extra Expenses – Covered!
One of the biggest issues with laying someone to rest is not just the trauma but the cost. From giving them a send-off that honours their memory to holding and feeding people, there are a lot of things to consider, all of which cost money. This is why having a funeral plan with built-in and top-up benefits is important.
There are some benefits that all our clients are entitled to. These include MYPrestige Rewards, where you can get monthly benefits ranging from grocery and airtime vouchers to free medical and legal advice. This is our way of saying thank you to our customers for making this long-term investment with us.
Other benefits which are included in most of our policies for our customers are:
- Cover for up to six people
- A casket and a graveside plaque
- A hearse and a chauffeur
- Catering, this includes preparation of the food and cleaning up
- Cemetery decor
- Funeral obituary and printed programmes
- Refreshments for the family during the service
- A canopy tent, 100 chairs, chair covers and two tables
- Mortuary storage and preparation of the body
- Flower arrangements which include coffin spray and upright flowers, sometimes posies and buttonholes.
We also offer several add-on benefits which can be bought to enhance your cover. Some of these are:
- The Inkomo Plan, which ensures you have a cow or meat voucher from your nearest butchery.
- If you purchase a headstone through us to honour and remember the deceased, you get free installation, valued at R4 000.
- We have a 3-in-1 Cover Plan, which includes undertaking services, catering services and a grocery fund.
Our plans come in different tiers, so you can select the plan and customise it so that it suits you, your family and your end-of-life wishes. Because we want to make sure that your ceremony or that of a loved one is as stress-free as possible.
