This December, we as the 21st Century Funeral Services had the honour of hosting a special Christmas Lunch for the wonderful residents of Issy Geshen Old Age Home. It was a beautiful day filled with warm smiles, gentle conversations, and moments that reminded us of the true meaning of the festive season. For us, this was more than just a lunch, it was a chance to celebrate the elderly members of our community and make them feel loved and appreciated.

Our team organised a simple yet meaningful programme, starting with a warm welcome, followed by a tasty 3-course lunch for everyone. The room was decorated in bright Christmas colours, and seeing the residents’ faces light up made all our efforts worthwhile. Many of them shared stories from their younger days, spoke about their families, and laughed along with us. These conversations reminded us how much wisdom and strength our elders possess, and how important it is to spend time with them.

As 21st Century Funeral Services, we believe that caring for families is not only about the services we offer, but also about being present in our communities. Hosting this Christmas Lunch allowed us to show support, respect, and gratitude to the elderly who have shaped the world we live in today. It was a simple act of giving back, but for us, it carried deep meaning. We left the home feeling inspired, humbled, and thankful for the chance to make a difference.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the Issy Geshen team for welcoming us with open arms and for the amazing work they do every day. And to our elders, thank you for the stories, the laughter, and the beautiful memories created. This will always remain a special memory for us, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with the Issy Geshen Lamont Home and supporting more communities in the future.
