Every year on World Mental Health Day, we take time to remind ourselves that mental health is just as important as physical health. Life can be filled with challenges, loss, and emotional ups and downs, and it’s okay to ask for help when things feel too heavy to carry alone.
At 21st Century Funeral Services, we understand that losing a loved one can be one of the most painful experiences in life. The grief that follows can affect your emotions, your health, and your overall well-being. That’s why we are committed to standing by our policyholders, not only during the funeral process but also afterward when the real journey of healing begins.
To support you on this journey, we offer one month of free grief counselling to all 21st Century Funeral Services policyholders. This service gives you the chance to speak to trained professionals who can guide you through your emotions, help you cope, and remind you that you are not alone.
Taking care of your mental health is an act of strength. Here are some ways that can support your mental health:
- Talk to a trusted friend, family member, or counsellor.
- Engage in daily physical activity, even a short walk.
- Keep a journal to express your feelings.
Let’s continue to look out for one another, share kindness, and make mental wellness a priority every day, not just on World Mental Health Day.
